West Beach - Adelaide

sunsets from beach
We have been out of the house for a couple of weeks now and are settling in to caravan life again. The weather hasn't been the best this year but the rains are good for Adelaide generally as we have had such dry conditions for the last 5 years.

Only one week before we head off overseas, I am starting to get excited about the coming months and Helena has been finalising all of our ongoing stuff which needs to be attended to before departure. Lucas has loaned me his backpack and some warm travel gear which will probably be necessary as it will still be cold when we reach London in late March - Helena has bought a similar backpack and wet weather gear, we are hoping to travel light this time and avoid trying to drag heavy luggage onto the tube and around airports.
We caught up with Alexa to get all of our travel documents and flight details, we have just had all of our medical shots and are ready to face all that the world can throw at us.
I am going to be responsible for ensuring that the technical side of the trip goes well so I am currently doing an audit of all phone, camera, laptops and associated chargers and peripherals.
The first port of call is Bali, at this time of year it tends to have high rainfall so we don't know quite what to expect weatherwise - hopefully it will still be pleasant although I expect it to be humid.
I finish work at the end of the week and then it is just 3 days before we go - looking forward to departure....
