Outside of Florence
After a walk to the foreshore, we left Rapallo mid-morning and heading to Florence arrived at Camping Il Sergente which was about 40km away. We've both got lovely memories of this hill side park, mainly due to the amazing hospitality by the Italian family who owned and managed it. The 'Mama' of the family shook our hands on our arrival and made us feel very welcome. This good Italian hospitality was evident that night while having dinner - our table of two and her families table of 24 + who enjoyed each others company over good wine and food. It was loud, noisy and almost out of control but it was good.
